Common Questions

Why don't I see my browsing history in my stash?

StashPad only captures article-style pages. Navigation pages, app shells, login screens, and very short pages are filtered out by design. If you expect a specific page to be stashed and isn't, open the side panel — if it doesn't show up after a refresh, drop us an email with the URL.

I connected Netflix / Amazon / YouTube and nothing synced.

Open the relevant service in a tab where you're signed in, then click Sync in the StashPad side panel's Sources view. Each connector reads only the specific history page for that service.

How do I disconnect a service?

Side panel → Sources → click Disconnect on the connector. StashPad will delete the items it captured from that source.

How do I delete my entire stash?

Side panel → Settings → Delete everything in your stash. This wipes local data immediately; on paid plans cloud data is removed within 30 days.

Where does my data live?

On free plans, entirely in your browser (chrome.storage.local). Nothing leaves your device unless you opt into a paid plan with cloud sync. Full details in our privacy policy.

I hit my query limit — can I get more?

Free tier is 50 AI queries / month. Paid tiers with higher limits are coming soon. Email us if you want early access.
